ELIGIBILITY TO APPEAR FOR RESIDENTIAL DEGREE COLLEGES COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (TGRDC CET – 2024)
Students appearing for Senior Intermediate Public Examination in March-2024 conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana or equivalent examination are ONLY eligible  to appear for the test, subject to the other conditions.
For admission, the students should have passed the qualifying examination in the first attempt in the academic year  2023-24 (Class of 2022-24) and secure 50% of marks on aggregate and 40% of marks in English subject. (There is a relaxation of 5% in case of SC/ST students).
Annual Income of the Parents/Guardian shall not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- in Rural areas and Rs.2,00,000/- in Urban Areas.
Latest Income certificate issued by MRO/Tahsildar should be submitted at the time of joining.

The duration of TGRDC CET- 2024 is 2 ½ hours.Entrance Test will be conducted for 150 marks in total. There will be three optional subject papers for 40 marks each,
in addition to English paper for 30 Marks (Except for BBA and B.Com General, Computer Applications, Business Analytics, BFT- Bachelor in Fashion Technology and B.Sc (Hons) Design & Technology). English paper is common to all courses.
For BBA and B.Com. (General, Computer Applications& Business Analytics) courses, the question paper will be composed with English, Economics & Commerce subjects. 50 marks for each subject.
For BFT - Bachelor in Fashion Technology and B.Sc (Hons) Design & Technology,
the question paper will be composed with English, General Ability, General knowledge and Design Ability. General Ability, General knowledge, Design Ability shall be for 40 marks each and English shall be for 30 Marks.
Entrance Test will be conducted based on Intermediate syllabus (Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana, Hyderabad).
Questions will be in both English and Telugu language and all will be Objective type Multiple Choice Questions. Answers should be encircled on OMR answer sheet.
There will be no negative marks for wrong answers.
The correct answer should be shaded fully and thickly in OMR sheet.

4. How to Apply:

The candidate shall read the Prospectus thoroughly and verify eligibility for appearing the TSRDC CET– 2024. The  prospectus shall be available on the website, tsrdccet.cgg.gov.ibn.
The candidate, after   satisfying   himself/herself   about   the eligibility, shall pay Rs.200/- through PAYMENT   GATEWAY centres from 28.02.2024 to   12.04.2024,   to   enable   to   submit the application online.
At the PAYMENT GATEWAY centre, the candidate has to fill the required preliminary data i.e., Name, Date of birth  and  Mobile number.
On receipt of the fee payment, the  candidate  shall  be  issued  a unique Journal Number with which, he/she can proceed for submission of the online application through tsrdccet.cgg.gov.in Issue  of  journal  number  does  not  mean  that the candidate has   completed   the   submission   of   online application  form. It  is  only  a  confirmation  of  the  Fee  payment only.
Before filling  of  the  online  application,  the  candidate  can  fill  up the  model  application  form  given  in  the  Annexure.  Please   note that this annexure is for guidance purpose only.
The candidate shall follow the procedure for submission of online application, as given in the “prospectus” and also as per the instructions provided online while filling   up   the   online application.

The candidate should be ready  with  the  photo  of passport  size  photograph  along  with Signature  at  the   bottom  of the photograph (3.5 x 4.5 cms) before filling online application.
If any candidate submits online application   by   using   others photo, suitable criminal action will be initiated against the candidate under section 416 of IPC 1860.
While filling the online   application,   selection   of   option means “group studied in intermediate or its equivalent” – certain instructions.
Candidate has to select the correct Intermediate group that he/she has studied viz. MPC, BiPC, MBiPC, CEC, MEC or HEC,at his/her Intermediate level.
Candidate who has studied Intermediate  Vocational  course  along with the Bridge  Course  has  to  select  the  relevant  course  studied viz. Physical Sciences or Biological Sciences.
While filling the online application, the candidate  must  select the course they want to pursue.
On  submission of the online application,  the   candidate   has  to take a copy (print) of application form in which a reference number shall also be given. This reference number is essential to download the Hall Ticket.

The copy of online application is to be preserved for further reference.
For any  mistakes/incorrect   information  submitted,  the candidate   is   solely  held   responsible.   Hence,   before   submission of  online  application,  the  candidate  should  re-verify  and  submit the form.
The applications  of  the  ineligible  candidates  will  be  rejected  and no specific communication will be given in this regard.
The selected candidate should be able to produce all the “original certificates” at the time of admission, as a proof to the information furnished in the application.The selection of the  candidate  will  be  summarily  rejected,  if  they fail to submit the necessary documents at the time of admission.

5. Jurisdiction  of  Candidates

The candidates,  who  are residents of   Telangana  and  have  studied in any of the educational institutions, located in any district of Telangana State are eligible.

Private candidates should submit Nativity  Certificate  obtained from the MRO/Tahasildar. Residence Certificate will not be accepted.

The candidates must have appeared Intermediate or its equivalent exam in March-2024

6. Issue  of  Hall  Tickets:  (Download  only)
   

• Candidates can download their Hall Tickets  from tsrdccet.cgg.gov.in from 21.04.2024 onwards with the reference number allotted to them.

• No  printed  hall  ticket  shall  be  issued/posted  to  the  candidate.

• Without hall ticket, no candidate will be allowed to appear for the entrance test.

7. General   Information:

• Mere appearing  for the Entrance Test   does  not   confer  any   right for  admission.  Candidates   shall   also   fulfill   other   admission criteria stipulated by MJPTBCWREIS, TSWREIS and TTWREIS.

• The administration reserves the right of changing the rules to be followed as per  the  directions  of  the  Government  and  University from time to time.

• The candidates are personally held responsible for any incorrect information Submitted application form.

• The Convener reserves  the  right  to  cancel  the  admission  at  any stage, if the particulars furnished by the candidate are found incorrect or against the rules of admission.

• The  fee  once  paid  will  not  be  refunded  under  any  circumstances.

8. SELECTION  OF  STUDENTS:

Selection of students shall be made based on the following:
Merit in the RDC-CET 2024
Rule of reservation for seat matrix has to be followed.
Reservation under Special category to be followed.
In case of tie among the  candidates with same  marks  in the  TGRDC CET 2024 entrance test, the order of the merit of the subjects  in entrance examination as detailed below will be taken into consideration.
For B.Sc. (MPC, MPCS & MPG) & Physical Sciences (CBCS): Maths,

For B.Sc. (BZC, MBZC, MBZG, NZC, BZG, ANPHBC, BBCC, BBTC & BTBCC) and Life Sciences (CBCS): Botany, Zoology & Chemistry
For B.Sc. (MSCS, MSDS, MSAI&ML & MECS) & Physical Sciences (CBCS):
